Faith

Riding on Faith. Believing. Many things over the past few years kept me going through some of the most heart wrenching events. Learning the Principles of the Gospel (Church of Latter-day Saints), having good friends and family, many prayers from me and others, and many, many other things. I have no doubt God knew my needs and still does during the easier times. Two songs come to mind. One is a LDS song - Be Still, My Soul. Those who Choose the Right are protected. I was protected when I did what was right. The other song is Nickleback's Someday. Wes promised me things would change. Even as hard as it was I just believed, I just knew because of the warm feeling I had that things would not be perfect but they would change. Blessings after trials are sweet. I am not delusional during these good times that trials will come and will be different from past trials but I know God knows what I need. If I follow the principles and learn more, God will bless me. Line upon line.

Great post! Thanks for sharing. I love those songs. Where Can I Turn for Peace is another favorite of mine too...

Your consistent Faith through everything has been inspiring to many. I too, love the song "Be Still My Soul" and have a testimony that music can calm the soul and remind us of our "Celestial" beginnings, the Eternal perspective. Thanks for sharing your heart.
